6.1.6 For all services, all costs they approve for telecommunications contracts are borne. 6.1.10 A worker who wishes to apply for a telework agreement must submit a written request to his direct supervisor. A telework agreement must be agreed upon by the employee, the supervisor and the head of the staff department. Changes to the written agreement must also be recorded in writing and approved by the line manager and the head of the staff department. Telework can be done with standard technologies such as computer, phone and email in addition to remote access or other hardware and software. Wireless technologies like smartphones and tablets make it even easier to be virtual. Telework equipment can be provided by the employer, the worker or a combination of both. 6.3.9 Remote access to the county network may be granted to the employee at the discretion of the employee`s immediate supervisor. Remote access can also be updated regularly to staff at the discretion of the employee`s direct supervisor.

If the Landkreiss Remote Access System Includes Internet access or other one-stop-shop services, staff may only use Internet access provided by Landkreis or other emergency call services in a manner that matches that of employees on the central site. Employees who tele depend on the home are subject to the same internal district guidelines regarding the use of county equipment and services that have provided equipment and services, as those provided by employees on the central site. 6.4.2 Landkreis may reimburse an employee, on a case-by-case basis, for long-distance telephone costs related to the business incurred by the employee on telemutation days, if it is previously approved by the employee`s supervisor and head of department. Telecommunications costs that exceed the minimum spending limit set by the head of department must also be pre-approved by the department head. Remote charges for remote access to the landkreis network are permitted if approved in advance by the line manager and head of the staff department. Telecommunications costs that go beyond the minimum standard set by the head of department must also be pre-approved by the department head. The refund requires a broken-down copy of the employee`s phone bill. 6.1.8 The implementation and termination of telecommunications contracts within the various agencies is left to the discretion of the supervisor and head of the personnel sector. 6.3.6 Telecommunications employees can use their own computers. Employees can turn to their department`s IT support or Helpdesk at their own risk for work-related assistance for their computer.
